# Engineer-ready tools, guides & market notes

Free cross-reference data, part-number decoders and practical buying notes — built for sourcing teams that buy DRAM and power ICs in volume. The library maps original part numbers to HGCHIPS equivalents across DDR3 (1.35 V / 1.5 V, VFBGA-96), DDR4 (1.2 V, FBGA-78/96) and LPDDR4X (up to 4266 MT/s, VFBGA-200), and explains how each field — density, organization (for example 512Mx16), speed grade, package and temperature range — has to match before you qualify a replacement.

Guides & market notes

### Fields that have to match before a replacement is qualified

| Field | Example | Why it has to match |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Density | 8 Gb | The die capacity your BOM and controller expect. |
| Organization | 512Mx16 | Internal arrangement of the die; a different organization changes row and bank addressing. |
| Speed grade | DDR4-2666 | Must be equal to or faster than the original part at the same clock. |
| Voltage | 1.35 V / 1.5 V / 1.2 V | DDR3L, DDR3 and DDR4 are not interchangeable at the rail level. |
| Package | VFBGA-96 / FBGA-78/96 / VFBGA-200 | Footprint and ball-out must be identical for a true drop-in. |
| Temperature range | Commercial 0 to +95 °C / Industrial −40 to +95 °C | Sets the operating envelope; industrial parts are required where the board runs hot or cold. |
